It's my favourite time of the year when the live musicians come into school. On this occasion we were lucky to have the wonderful Mr Tees.
We have learnt that sound is made by vibrations. So we all had a go at vibrating.
The shorter the string the shorter the vibration and the higher the noise. Therefore the longer the string the deeper noise.
Music is made up of 3 things; rhythm, melody and lyrics.
To test this theory we went back to an old favourite, black socks!
This skill comes in handy when playing instruments like the trumpet, the trombone and the baritone.
To finish off we learnt a new song, the song that never ends, accompanied by tap shoes and ukulele.
