Welcome to this week's maths homework, rather than copy the link from the homework books I thought it would be much more helpful as a link to click on, on the blog. Don't feel like you have to play them all, for hours. Have fun and learn secretly at the same time!
(and the music is like some kind of Calypso jam, get ready to have it running through your head the next day.)
Under The Sea - In this game you have to compete against the computer to make your way all the way around the board before the other player. You roll the dice to find out what you are multiplying. There is a grid on the right which you have to make the answer in, by dragging the blue dot. Sometimes you have to read that array grid to find the answer... Have a go first before you invite you child along.
10+10+10+10+10+10+10 = 60 so 6 x 10 = 60
Bridge Doubles - OH NO!!! Half of the bridge has fallen down. We need to double the amount so that the car can make it across to the other side of the bridge. Click on the number that is double.
Monkey Doubling - Picture this, a monkey driving a green car into barrels. In this game you have to match the number on the back of your car to the double addition on a barrel. This has some skill to it as well as number knowledge. Give it a try. My favourite game of the homework. Try and beat my score of 17 bananas.
Camel Times Tables - If you have a go at the medium level it is questions about counting in 2s and 10s. On Hard it goes onto counting in 4s and 5s, you can give it a go. Then on Really hard it is trying to make multiplications out of the pictures.
