We have been given the go ahead for the conker fight this week!
I have spent my Sunday drilling holes in conkers and stringing them.
All that is left to do is to grab the goggles from the science cupboard, take the gardening gloves out of the shed and away we go!
So make sure your home recipe conkers are in ready for
Thursday 19th October.
I do have some spares if you can't get your hands on any.
If you have any issues with your child taking part in the conker fight, let a member of the Year One team know and they can be an official and monitor the rules of the competition and help me keep score.
