The children have had a great start to the term. They have been enthusiastic to learn about Queen Victoria and toys of the past.
Last week they made peg dolls as it was a toy from the Victorian times.

Designing and making a healthy packed lunch
The children have designed and made healthy packed lunches today. We thought about hygiene and safety as they prepared the food. The children formed part of a production line, which relates to their learning in science, to produce their product. They really enjoyed themselves! It was reassuring to find out that they knew which foods are healthy and which ones are unhealthy.
Cleaning the tables
The most enjoyable part was helping to eat it!

Healthy Teeth
Tuesday 9th December
Healthy Teeth
We had a visit from the school nurses today to talk about how to keep our teeth healthy.
Brush all of your teeth, even the back teeth!
Brush your teeth twice a day for 2 minutes.
The children practised brushing their teeth.
The nurses gave each child a certificate for joining in with their lesson.
The children produced their own posters, which included the important messages about how to keep their teeth healthy.

A Christmassy Day!
The children were getting into the Christmas mood today! They started the day by watching the Wizard of Oz Pantomime, then they made christmas cards and they ended the day with the Christmas disco.

It wouldn't be a Christmas card without glitter!
They do look lovely!
